Jahrhunderts eine Reihe von gesellschaftlichen, technischen und nicht zuletzt politischen Veränderungen in der Lebenswelt der Dorfbevölkerung gegenüber.Leon Pfaff geht der Frage nach, wie sich der Alltag im Dorf von den 1920er bis in die 1940er Jahre veränderte. Er beleuchtet die wirtschaftliche Situation der Weinbauern und ihrer Familien und zeigt auf, in wieweit die dörflichen Strukturen den Nährboden für den Nationalsozialismus boten. Zudem schildert er, in welchem Verhältnis das NS-Regime sowie der Zweite Weltkrieg – und die damit verbundene Zwangsarbeit – zum Weinbau und zur dörflichen Gesellschaft standen.Aus einer Vielzahl von Archivdokumenten sowie Zeitzeug:innenberichten und der einschlägigen Literatur entsteht ein Bild der Entwicklungen Zell-Weierbachs in der ersten Hälfte des 20.
